  • The Federation of Bakers responds to MacGregor’s salt study in the American Heart Association journal, Hypertension -Gordon Polson, Director of The Federation of Bakers commented “Professor MacGregor is using data from 2007 -2010 which is now out of date. Salt in bread has continued to be reduced since this study was carried out. Bakers will continue to try and reduce salt where possible across the whole range of their products”Read more ..

    A new fragrance, Eau de Toast, has been created by the country’s bakers to remind the nation’s women who skip breakfast just what they’re missing. The limited edition scent launches today and was created by The Federation of Bakers. Coinciding with the start of London Fashion Week ‘Eau de Toast’ has been created to challenge the fashion for bread-free diets. ..

  • ‘Don't Feed the Ducks!'
    The country’s bakers have joined forces with park-keepers to remind families of the nutritional benefits of bread. Signs will be up at Battersea Park and Clapham Common this summer asking the public not to feed the ducks, but to save the bread for themselves. The campaign’s aims are to prevent bread wastage and remind families of the benefits of eating bread.
