British Bakels is a member of the Bakels Group of Companies, a privately owned organisation operating in more than 30 countries worldwide.

British Bakels commenced operations in the UK in 1947 and highlights of our activities since then include the introduction of specialist release agents and application equipment in the 1950's, the use of data esters in bread production in the early 60's and liquid dough conditioners at the end of the 90's.

Today British Bakels has one of the most extensive ranges of bread and confectionery liquid dough conditioners, bulk liquid fats, bread and confectionery release agents, plus mixes and concentrates, glazes, icings, toppings and RTU custards.
