Edme Limited produces a range of malted, cereal and other grain-based single ingredients and blends for the food industry, particularly the bakery sector.

Established in 1884, the Company has its roots in the malting industry. Privately owned, as part of Anglia Malting, Edme has an expertise in the manufacture of malt products designed specifically for the food industry. The products have many applications including the provision of flavour, texture, colour and enzyme functionality in bakery and other food formulations.

Edme utilises a range of processes to manufacture a variety of ingredients. These processes also provide opportunities for the creation of bespoke products and services, with particular emphasis on dry blending, from technical blends, specialist and exotic bread concentrates of high volume, blending and packing facilities.

The Company works to a strong service philosophy that results in close, working relationships with its customers, both in day to day operations and also on the development of future business opportunities.

A major supplier of cereal ingredients in the UK, Edme is also a major exporter currently servicing markets across Europe, Asia and the Far East.
