The Federation of Bakers’ members are all major plant bakers in the UK. There are 9 companies in membership operating 47 bakeries nationwide manufacturing mainly sliced and wrapped bread. Our members produce over 80% of the bread consumed in the UK. Combined with bakery snacks and morning goods this gives a retail market value of £3 billion per annum.
We have 8 member companies who are all large scale bakers of sliced and wrapped bread. Our members run 33 bakeries throughout the UK supplying 80% of the UK's bread. Find out more.
