Gordon Polson

Gordon took over as Director of the Federation of Bakers in September 2005 following over 20 years experience of managing trade associations including position with the British Amusement Catering Trades Association, the British Insurance Brokers Association, National Association of Steel Stockholders, the Federation of Ophthalmic and Dispensing Opticians and the Aluminium Federation.

Gordon is an honours graduate, holds an MBA and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries.

Alex Mayfield

Alex was elected Chairman of the Federation of Bakers in March 2013. He is Business Solutions Director for the UK’s largest bakers, Warburtons and has full responsibility for purchasing, engineering, supply chain, quality and health, safety and the environment.

He has been at Warburtons since 2012 and has been a member of the FOB Council since May 2012.
