Mark Fairweather has been elected as the new Chairman of the Federation of Bakers. Mark takes over the role from Joe Street after being formally elected at the Annual General Meeting on 13 May 2010.

WHEAT ALLERGY AND INTOLERANCE

Joseph Street has been re-elected as the Chairman for the Federation of Bakers for the 2nd year. Joe was formally re-elected at the Annual General Meeting on 20 May 2009.

A new survey highlights that for 64% of British children school home-time is the peak snacking period. This is followed by mid morning (24%), and before bedtime (11%).
